If big climbs and fast descents of the Noosa Enduro 100 are a little daunting – we’ve got the Noosa Enduro 60 on offer.
The scenic route heads out from the festival village in Tewantin taking in Harry Springs reserve, Tewantin National Park and past Lake MacDonald then towards Pomona for a lap of Pomona Mountain before heading back.
The terrain itself is predominantly on gravel roads but does have section of single track, sealed roads, fire roads and other varied surfaces.
With no major climbs and a few short technical sections, it’s a fun and challenging course suited to the beginner to intermediate skill and fitness level.
Once you cross the finish line, celebrate with a nice cold beverage and enjoy the live music in the event village.
While the beginner would be more suitable on a mountain bike, all sorts of off-road bikes have been used to take on the Noosa Enduro 60. Tyres of 34mm or greater are recommended though.
